Partnerships for Water Security: Perspectives from Government, Finance and Industry

In an increasingly constrained fiscal environment, ensuring water security and resilience is a critical challenge for Australian policymakers. Population growth, a drier climate and rising demand from growth industries (such as data centres) will drive up water needs over the next decade. In Victoria alone, Victorian Water Security Plan modelling indicates an additional 95 billion litres per year, even with the desalination plant at full capacity.

Join us for a timely conversation on the future of water infrastructure, exploring how governments and industry can respond to these pressures through innovative delivery and financing models – including the UK’s Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) model – and how they might be adapted locally.

Our expert panel will discuss the role of private finance and industry partnerships in delivering greater efficiency, whole-of-life cost certainty and better outcomes for customers amid constrained public sector balance sheets

Speakers To be announced soon.
