Taking place shortly after the national budgets, this session will feature senior public sector representatives from Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda, offering first‑hand insights into what recent fiscal announcements mean for priority projects, funding approaches, and delivery pipelines. The discussion will explore landmark initiatives, including Kenya’s new National Infrastructure Fund, Ethiopia’s New Bishoftu International Airport, evolving PPP frameworks in Tanzania and Uganda’s Malaba–Kampala Standard Gauge Railway, and assess the evolving role of private capital in East Africa’s infrastructure future.
