Evolving the PPP model: A Renewables Focus

Public-Private Partnerships have long been and continue to be critical for infrastructure delivery in Australia.

However, the model must continue to evolve if it is to respond to changing market conditions and continue to deliver value for governments.

This session will explore opportunities for embedding principles of collaborative contracting into the PPP framework – from introducing pain/gain share mechanism for certain risks or cost inputs through to ‘Progressive PPPs’ – to ensure greater value.

While the panel’s primary focus will be on renewables, panellists will also take a broader lens across sectors.
