CCUS in the UK: Scaling the Investment Opportunity

As the UK accelerates its CCUS rollout, investors face a rapidly expanding pipeline spanning capture technologies, CO₂ transport networks and long-duration storage. While long-term demand is strengthening, CCUS continues to present commercial and regulatory complexities that influence project bankability and risk allocation.

We are pleased to welcome Alex Millward, Director for CCUS Delivery, DESNZ, who will provide a public sector overview of the UK CCUS programme, including delivery challenges and the evolving regulatory trajectory.

The event will convene senior representatives from government, developers, financiers and operators to examine emerging models across the value chain and share lessons from more mature international markets. Discussions will explore evolving commercial frameworks, risk-sharing mechanisms and investment opportunities.

The session will be followed by networking with industry peers shaping the next phase of the energy transition.

More speakers to be announced.
