Ireland has an ambitious infrastructure pipeline. But how do we choose the right delivery and financing model to turn ambition into infrastructure?

Bringing together perspectives from investment, finance, academia and European institutions, this session will examine the different models available to deliver major infrastructure and where each works best. From traditional public procurement and PPPs to newer partnership and privately financed structures, the discussion will explore how approaches are evolving and what Ireland can learn from experience at home and elsewhere. 

Rather than debating whether public or private delivery is inherently better, the panel will consider the more practical question:

How can Ireland choose the right delivery model for the right asset, at the right time?

Speakers will bring different perspectives on partnership models, DPC, PPPs and the practical realities of infrastructure delivery, exploring risk allocation, financing, value and the conditions needed to make different models work. 

Attendees will hear a range of views, challenge conventional thinking and contribute to a timely discussion about how Ireland can deliver the infrastructure needed to support its future growth.
