PEZ I: Belgian Offshore Wind, Take Two

Belgium’s offshore wind tender is set for a comeback. As the government prepares to relaunch the first phase of development in the Princess Elizabeth Zone, we’ll look at what has changed since the original tender launch in November 2024, unpack the revised tender design, and hear from key market players and stakeholders on what comes next.

Discussion Points:

1) What changes with the removal of citizen participation?

2) What’s next for MOG II and grid connections?

3) How will “Made in Europe” requirements impact the market?

4) Will the 2CfD mechanism support bankability?

5) What are the remaining investment and financing challenges?

Speakers: To be announced soon
